Last week, I had a talk with my bestie about ‘soul’, ‘intuition’, our ‘inner voice’, versus our ‘mind’ regarding helping my clients end their emotional eating and become normals eater without dieting or restriction.

And how I believe that tuning in to body & soul first (and then followed with the mind) is the true clarity that many people need to create a life, a business, a body, a relationship that they love.

But, my friend finds me a bit too ‘spiritual’ and ‘woowoo’ at times.

She says it all starts and ends in the brain. The brain decides and the brain can change your life. (she’s a scientist, and very analytical).

That was a heated conversation (fun heated because we love debating and talking, and then when we say what we had to say, we move on and laugh about something.)

Me: ‘I get it. But, how come people know what they should do regarding their health, their emotional eating from what logic has taught them over the years (just eat a bit, when full put your food away)… But they are still struggling? They are missing the KEY thing that they need, which is the way I work with my clients, which is Body, Soul, and then Mind.

Her: ‘Well if they really wanted it, they would just do it.’

Me: ‘Really? (I shared with her something in her past where she knew what she needed to do, but she didn’t…)

Her: ‘…’ (silence).

.
So yes, you can know EVERYTHING possible about what you should or should not do.

But…your breakthrough is right inside of you.

I graduated with honours from my Bachelors Degree in Dietitians & Human Nutrition in one of the top schools in the world….I KNEW what to do logically, but it wasn’t working.

I was still struggling with overeating, stress eating, binge eating…

I was ashamed and embarrassed that I am broken, and I am stuck in my binge eating disorder for life.

But I knew there was a missing piece I was not taught.

I focused outside of the ‘nutrition’ knowledge, and finally broke free without dieting, or restriction or protein shakes.

This is why diets don’t work. They are only focusing on enforcing on the body & soul via MIND actions, and then you keep falling off the wagon.

So, it is time.

Time to tune in to what your body needs.

Time to tune in to what your soul needs.

And then we tune in to upgrade the mind.
